1968 Custom A100 Pickup One of a Kind

I bought this PU about 2 years ago from the owner / builder. He told me it took him about 5 years to complete. I saw this A100 at a Car Show in Willcox, AZ and always wanted one. (I've owned many Mopars over the years) but never an A100 PU. He was not trying to sell it. After talking with him and driving this beauty we came to an agreement and it was mine. He was an ex-drag racer and I trusted his ability to put together this kind of truck that's far from stock.
Powered by a Magnum 360-V8/ Holly 4 bbl. carb model with headers. Engine built by truck owner.
The exhaust exits in front of the rear wheels on both sides. Has a nice mellow tone thru the turbo style mufflers-not loud and obnoxious.
Aluminum radiator with a pusher Electric fan in front and regular fan off motor keeps it running cool.
Has aux. trans. oil cooler with electric fan.
A727 3 speed Automatic Trans. (Rebuilt)shifted by its factory dash mounted Shifter.
Has a 9' Ford rear axle assembly, not sure of the gear ratio but not real low.
Air Conditioning that works!!
4 Wheel Disc brakes (Front end is still the straight axle)
The rear is tubbed to house the huge rear wheels & tires
Tires and wheels are 15". The rims are matching polished aluminum. 5 on 4 and 1/2 in bolt circle.
There is an on-board air compressor that works the air bagged suspension.
An aluminum fuel cell is mounted in the front of the bed.
A locking tonneau cover keeps things safe.
The tailgate is no longer functional as a tailgate -entry into the bed is done through the driver side front of the locking tonneau cover that lifts and props up for access to the battery / fuel cell / Air compressor-holding tank.
The interior is fully finished off with a headliner and carpeting.
Seat belts and Shoulder belts to hold you in.
The factory instrument cluster is not functional except for lighting and turn signal indicators'
Speed is by the GPS screen mounted to the left of the dash
All other gages are aftermarket and mounted on the center console Gas gage included.
Has a backup camera also.
Tinted glass-Door glass and back glass.
(See detailed pictures of interior)
Has an AM-FM CD player .
Metallic Tangerine & Yellow paint with flames finish the exterior.
Hand painted pinstriping accent this paint job.
Headlight aluminum rings are chromed instead of polished.
Has LED rear taillamp's and LED full width bar brake light & sequential turn signal lamps.
The rear wing /spoiler is from a late model Dodge SRT/8 PU and fits perfectly -like it was custom made for this PU.
I've only driven this PU to cars shows / meets in the Tucson area only.
Maybe driven it 300 miles since I've owned it.
Only comes out on beautiful dry sunny days and I've never driven it in the rain.
Between myself and the original builder of this A100 it has won many, many 1st place trophies at shows!
This truck was built to be a show truck and cruiser not a drag racing truck although it gets up and runs excellent.
